Honestly it's kind of insane that I didn't get into Futurama until like...2022. Late 2022. I've loved the Simpsons since I was a kid (and my dad started showing me the episodes). I like wacky, absurd, humor and sci-fi. I mean, hell, I grew up on Phineas and Ferb. Anyway, I mentioned never having seen it to one of my friends and they were told me, "I HAVE to show this to you." Damn. They were right. It's kind of hard to sum up why I love this show into one simple thing. There's a lot I love about Futurama. I love the style of humor. I love the characters. I love that it shows that being an adult doesn't mean you're not also a mess. I feel like there's this idea that people have it all figured out by 20 but...that's just not true. Also of course the setting. I love a futuristic setting that's a bit silly. And I like that there's even a bit of lore for me to bounce around in my brain. It's nothing too crazy but it's fun.
